I had one of these for the first time yesterday. The article below has photos. It really is a very odd melon. The exterior is like a cantaloupe with yellow highlights while the flesh is green. The flesh really does have a lemon flavor. I spit out the first bite. I tried a few more after the surprise wore off but really couldn’t tolerate the flavor. No one in my family cared for it either. Interesting that everyone in the attached article seemed to love it. I would be curious to know how it was developed.
