Wild Berry | Marijuana Strain Review
The Wild Berry strain, a.k.a. Wild Berry Kush, is renowned in the cannabis world for its unique high-terpene profile. Due to its deliciously flavorful blueberry taste, many consider Wild Berry to be one of the best strains for cannabis extracts.
Apart from an enticing aroma and flavor, what else can you expect from the Wild Berry strain? Read on to find out.
What Is the Wild Berry Strain?
The Scorpion Crew at BC Bud Depot created the Wild Berry strain by crossing Blackberry Kush and DJ Short Blueberry. This fusion of Kush and Blueberry genetics resulted in a mostly indica (approximately 70:30) hybrid strain.
Don’t be fooled by Wild Berry’s alluring aroma; this strain packs a potent punch.
Lab tests show that Wild Berry samples can contain a THC level as high as a whopping 25%. This percentage puts the Wild Berry strain at the upper end of THC-rich strains. Due to its potency, this strain is unsuitable for novice cannabis consumers.
With such a high THC level, this strain’s high may also be too overwhelming for most cannabis lovers. Even seasoned cannasseurs would be wise to consume this strain in moderation and avoid overindulging and prevent adverse reactions.
Wild Berry’s potent cerebral high induces a strong feeling of euphoria, which dominates the initial stages of its effects. As the more indica-dominant physical effects take hold later, a feeling of sedation comes to the fore. Ultimately, Wild Berry’s soporific effects tend to overwhelm most of its consumers, and sleep becomes hard to resist.
Wild Berry has inherited its sweet and blueberry fragrance from its parent strain, DJ Short Blueberry. Its strong earthy smell, coupled with fragrant floral notes, further enrich its beautiful aroma.
Wild Berry lives up to its name with its mouth-wateringly sweet berry flavor. When you first taste the delicious blueberry flavor, it’s easy to see why this strain is renowned for its high-terpene profile. Wild Berry is a taste sensation and is one of the standout features of this strain.
The best choices around…
In recipes such as baked goods, Wild Berry’s sweetness can be used to reduce the sugar content. Why not try and make blueberry muffins infused with Wild Berry?
Wild Berry plants have a colorful appearance thanks to their beautiful buds that seamlessly combine a rainbow of colors. At their base, the buds are a rich green color with orange pistils that cover the surface.
Upon closer observation, you notice that Wild Berry buds have a blue and purple mottled effect, adding depth to the overall coloring. The buds are covered in a layer of white crystals that add a misted look to Wild Berry plants.
Wild Berry features dense buds with a dry texture, causing the outermost layers to crumble in your hand. As you break Wild Berry buds apart, you are presented with an onion-like effect, unraveling the different colors and shades contained within.
The leaves on a Wild Berry plant have almost as much color as the plant’s buds, mixing deep blues and purples with yellow and black hints. Together, the leaves and buds create a beautiful plant that catches your attention at first glance.
Wild Berry Strain Grow Info
Wild Berry strain seeds are available online. Unfortunately, Wild Berry is not the easiest strain to grow. Most rate Wild Berry’s growth difficulty as moderate and not suitable for amateur gardeners with no cannabis cultivation experience.
The good news is that you can grow Wild Berry plants indoors and outdoors. However, these plants require warm, sunny conditions to thrive outdoors. Experienced indoor growers recommend a rich-soil grow medium and utilizing the SOG (Sea of Green) Method.
Also, to allow for more efficient energy distribution to the growing buds, defoliate by removing the larger fan leaves.
The indoor flowering period is eight weeks, and when grown outdoors, these plants are ready for harvesting around early October. Precise dates depend on your local climate and seasons.
Growing Wild Berry plants outdoors can be slightly trickier than keeping them inside due to their specific temperature requirements. Wild Berry plants thrive at approximately 72 degrees Fahrenheit during the vegetative stage. Cooler nighttime temperatures as these plants begin to flower can help to bring out their distinctively rich coloring.
THC Content – Highest Test
As mentioned, Wild Berry has an incredibly high THC content. Lab testing of Wild Berry samples revealed that this strain contains THC levels up to 25%.

Medical Benefits of the Wild Berry Strain
Many Wild Berry strain consumers say that this strain can help to address several different conditions. As this strain has an uplifting and euphoria-inducing effect in its early stages, it may offer short-term relief to those with mood disorders.
Why you should choose an indic…
Being an indica-dominant strain, Wild Berry’s physical effects may help to relax your muscles and alleviate aches and pains. The gradual feeling of sedation and drowsiness may also make this strain suitable for those with insomnia.
Possible Side Effects of the Wild Berry Strain

Given this strain’s high THC content, some have experienced heightened anxiety and paranoia after consuming Wild Berry. Others reported that they felt dizzy or experienced a mild headache. Therefore be careful not to over-consume Wild Berry to avoid these adverse reactions.

Wild berry strain
Smells amazing, tastes amazing. Gives you a nice high but I have noticed I usually get pretty dizzy while I’m on it where I dont notice dizziness on other strains. If you are prone to migraines or dizziness I wouldn’t recommend this since it triggered that for me. If you like a light high that tastes more like candy than anything else it’s for you!
Very true to the description this bud holds an amazing taste and packs an incredible punch. Absolutely recommend this to all will be buying again 100%
